Dream #1: A psychedelic glimpse

Dream: In my dream I had eaten some powder which I got from someone (I am not sure who), it was something Ayurvedic, but after some time, I got caught in an illusion. I understood when I got that feeling, but this illusion was very real. 

My friend Anika (she’s a very close friend of mine, we’ve been best friends for 15 years) was with me and she had taken it as well. She too was feeling the same way.

We both felt like we couldn’t control our bodies, for example, if we wanted to raise our hands, it was difficult to do. It felt like I couldn’t control my body and I could not even think properly. I constantly felt that I wanted to get out of this phase. 

Anika and I were next to each other, because we didn't know what was happening to us, but we knew what we were feeling and we could understand each other.

After a while, we saw that time was passing and we couldn't understand how we were unable to do anything and just sat there. There was more of that Ayurvedic powder left and it was like a « deja vu » of eating it again, I mentally did not wish to have it.

Then I felt it in my mouth again, I understood that it was something I didn't want to have any more and that it wouldn't help me get back to normal, Anika and I also understood that it wasn't a medicine and that it was something else.

Then, because I was not able to control my body, somewhere in my mind, when I felt it in my mouth, I made an effort to tell my mind not to eat it and deliberately started coughing.

That’s when I woke up from my sleep coughing. I realized that I was in my room and in my senses. As I was coughing when I woke up, I wanted to drink some water.

In reality, when I came out of my room, I saw a baby lizard in the kitchen (I had seen it in the kitchen the day before, but it had run away).

In the morning, I didn't think it was important, but when I started writing this dream, I thought that it was rare to see a lizard in our house and that it also had something to do with this dream).

 

Dream #2: The high school band

Dream: I was at a compound area in my tertiary school. I was searching for one of my flute senior, Terence (very humble, artistically talented, expressive, helpful, charismatic, motivated, disciplined). It felt like we were preparing for a band performance. I was walking around and I couldn't locate him. But in the midst of my search, I met many schoolmates, bandmates, ranging from my Primary school days, to Tertiary.

I also saw my primary school band instructor Mr. Smith (perseverance, dedication, passion, dynamic and powerful influence). I realized that they all ignored me, and did not want to engage with me. I felt sad.

I then went up a long flight of the staircase and suddenly, this place turned into my house. It was so huge. All the schoolmates were still there chatting. I saw Kyra (emotional coldness, masculine, laid-back), my secondary schoolmate. She was chatting with me and saying that she does not have many friends.

Then, I went into my room, I was trying to change my sanitary pad, and suddenly Sam (calculative, gossips, rigid, too feminine) my secondary school band mate came in.

I was shocked and told him that this place was actually my old house. I then saw a swing, an indoor swing and I told him that my husband and I used to relax on it during our free time.

Suddenly, Sam was trying to get close to me and wanted to have sex with me! I was so shocked and frightened and I turned him down. I knew that I couldn't do such a thing because I'm married and my husband was still waiting for me.

I quickly went out of the room, and called my husband to ask him where he was.

 

Dream #3: Driving in circles

Dream: I dreamed that I was driving near a residential area. The first section of the road was unfinished. And then I turned into short inner roads, but I nearly got lost so I kept going in circles, sometimes having to avoid oncoming cars.

Then I entered a food store. I was a regular customer and also an employee there. The store was almost no customers, even though it was clean, neat, and well-organized.

When I stood by the store shelf, I suddenly thought about the time I sold products online: as soon as a customer asked a single question, I would launch into a whole explanation. I found it funny.

On the shelves, there were beautiful, arranged trays of pre-prepared food like tofu, which had been produced since 2023. But still looked perfectly fine. Those trays should have been discarded, but instead, they were just covered up by placing new trays on top.

Then the store had some problems with its computer system. The owner was a big young man wearing a black jacket, actively working to fix the system. I thought to myself, "The store has no customers, no real activity, yet he's so focused on fixing the system.

Meanwhile, the main task—actually selling products—is being completely neglected."
